Wheaton internist Scott J. Kolbaba, MD, will draw from his new book, Physicians' Untold Stories, to present "Is There Still Room for Spirituality in Medicine?" during the 2017 DCMS Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 11, at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton.
Doctor Kolbaba interviewed 200 physician colleagues to identify the 26 miraculous experiences chronicled in the book, including dreams foretelling future events, apparitions, and other awe-inspiring occurrences. Together the stories demonstrate that miracles - things that physicians cannot begin to explain scientifically - do occur everyday and sometimes all we need to do is believe.
